Certificate 3 Guarantee – Queensland Government Subsidy

Wesley Institute has been selected by the Department of Employment, Small Business & Training as a pre-qualified supplier of subsidised training and assessment services.

Department of Employment, Small Business & Training aims to provide training participants RTO’s able to deliver high-quality, industry-standard training that supports employment opportunities.

 

The Certificate 3 Guarantee ​- Funded by the Queensland Government

The Queensland Government provides subsidised training opportunities to assist eligible Queenslanders at different stages of their working life to access vocational education and t​​​raining and complete formal qualifications.

Under the Certificate 3 Guarantee, the Queensland Department of Employment, Small Business & Training provides a subsidy for a range of certificate III qualifications.

 

Are you eligible to participate?

The program is open to any Queensland resident aged 15 years or over who is no longer at school (with the exception of VET in Schools students) and is an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and on the pathway to permanent residency.

Prospective students must not have or be enrolled in a certificate III level or higher qualification (not including qualifications completed at school and foundation skills training).

 

Do I need to contribute to the cost of training?

Given the benefits that training provides to individuals, students undertaking certificate III training and non-concessional students are required to contribute to the costs of their training through a co-contribution fee.

 

Wesley Institute Fees

For the Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical), for qualifying students, the co-contribution fee for the Qualification (private fee rrp of $2445.00) are:

 

Government Subsidised Fee         $375.00
Concessional Fee                           $75.00

 

This fee includes all administration charges, workbooks and resources.

Eligibility Criteria

If you are considering this qualification and a Government Subsidy, please review the following criteria.

  • Queensland resident
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen
  • Australian Permanent Resident (inc humanitarian entrants)
  • Temporary Residents with pathway to permanent residency
  • Not currently enrolled or completed Certificate III or higher qualification (not including school qualifications, pre 2005, and foundations skills training)
