Our first ‘final’ workshop – finalising studies for our first lot of students in our Cert III Qualification. Ladies covered off on more medical letter production, editing and design and produced some truly awesome work (with letterheads/logos).
We ran a Medical Meeting and produced Minutes and ran a workshop on Women and Leadership, recognising our unique talents, reviewing our values and showcasing them effectively via our covering letters.
Congratulations to all of the students for achieving excellence in their studies towards their Qualification and for producing some outstanding project work.
Wesley Medical Reception students winning!
Big congratulations to Shelley, Charlotte, Stacey, Bree and Megan for their success in securing excellent jobs after completing Wesley’s popular short course in Health Admin. Stand out stories were Shelley, who had not yet completed our programme and received the call during class that she had ‘got the job’ – to much celebration and excitement with her fellow students and mentors.
We love Charlotte’s story even more. Charlotte is 67 years young and completed our programme in Brisbane recently. She took to heart the advice given in our Careers Workshop and applied for local positions carefully using our recommended methods. It worked… (well of course it did)..
After quickly winning an interview with a Specialist Physiotherapist clinic in Qld – Charlotte was successful in winning the position against many other applicants – yes.. including younger people and those with ‘experience’! Charlotte’s new employer commented they were aware of the quality of the Wesley programme, and it saw the training as a key advantage to her application. Charlotte brought in her workbook and project work – which suitably impressed!
